Abstract

This paper maintains that the processes of modernization of Spanish university of the initial fifteen years of twentieth-first century have not been interrupted by economic crisis subsequent to 2008. Instead of that, the crisis has consolidated those processes. In fact, intellectual emigration and the reduction of number of teachers (whose size is due to crisis) are to be taken as genuine indexes of modernization.
