Prevention of corporate crime
Abstract
In recent decades, Spanish criminal law has developed new tools to combat corporate crime. These tools range from the introduction of new crimes specifically relating to business activity to the implementation of new institutions which allow making directors and officers criminally responsible. The last step in this process is the introduction of a system of genuine criminal liability of legal persons.
