Conventionality control
Abstract
This article describes the origin of the concept of conventionality control in the Inter-American System of Human Rights. It also inquires about the features and elements of the conventionality control, as the Inter-American canon and the scope of the conventionality control. The paper also refers to the institutions obliged to apply the test and the implications of its implementation in the national legal systems from the viewpoint of the Interamerican Court of Human Rights.
