Complex and intertwined inequalities: a proposal for a legal-political treatment
Abstract
This paper argues that the plurality and diversity of our societies makes it
necessary to think about complex forms of legal-political treatment of inequality.
In this sense, based on the commentary of a normative action linked to the
full-face Islamic veil that, by not sharing the above, causes negative effects,
this work proposes a conception of justice that integrates redistribution and
recognition, while claiming the importance of dialogue and the incorporation of
new perspectives such as intersectionality.
