Analysis contents of nurse prescribing published in the media
Abstract
Introduction: the lastest developments on nurse prescribing mean an important recognition of nursery in Spain. This manuscript emerges due to the lack of contents about matter from media approach. Objective: to know national media process with respect the matter during 2018. Methodology: an observational, simple descriptive. It was used Mynews database. A general search on the main national media was done, and other search on specialised media in health. Results: Most of publications were found in health media, in digital format. October was the prominent month concerning publication numbers. The main media section were “health” and “society”; and the main media sources were “Institutions” and “Politicians”. Conclusion: numerous media published news related to RD 1302/2018 during the year 2018, mainly digital media, specific in health. Generalist media underlines for the political approach about issue. It is underlined the need to make procedures for assuring quality of health content publications.
