La comunicación en la relación de ayuda al cuidador principal = Communication in helping relationship to primary caregiver
Abstract
Resumen: Conocemos la relación de ayuda como un proceso basado en la adquisición de una serie de habilidades que permiten a las personas tomar conciencia de sus temores y necesidades, estimulándoles a descubrir y conocer los recursos que poseen para hacerle frente a su situación actual. La comunicación es un pilar básico en toda relación de ayuda ya que a través de ésta, se abordan todas las emociones y necesidades y se estimulan todos los cambios comportamentales. El cuidado de una persona dependiente es una responsabilidad que implica de manera directa a los cuidadores familiares. La sobrecarga que produce el cuidado de una persona con estas características, provoca un estado de sufrimiento en los cuidadores que se manifiesta en una serie de sentimientos y emociones. El presente trabajo, realiza una revisión sobre las diferentes publicaciones científicas que han aparecido en los últimos años y que hacen referencia a la relación de ayuda como terapia de apoyo a los cuidadores familiares.

Abstract: We know the counselling, as a process based on the acquisition of a number of skills that enable people to become aware of their concerns and needs, encouraging them to discover and know the resources they have to cope with their current situation. Communication is a cornerstone in any helping relationship because through this, it addresses all emotions and stimulates all needs and behavioral changes. Taking care of a dependent person is a responsibility that comes directly to family caregivers. The burden caused by the care of a dependent person, causing a state of distress in caregivers manifested in a series of feelings and emotions. This work, carried out a review of the various scientific publications that have appeared in recent years and which refer to the counselling as supportive therapy helps family caregivers.
